This is the outcome of my shoot with Gender activist milDRED Love. She was great to work with and it was almost spooky to see how she transformed her gender by merely putting a hat on or a jacket and tie. She is truly androgynous, a strong yet sexy woman one moment and a handsome man the next. Her sheer presence makes you wonder about the so called male and female attributes society assigns to men and women.

Alessandra Sanguinetti- June 11th (The Adventures of Guille and Belinda and the Enigmatic Meaning of their Dreams)
This is the story or, more accurately, part of the story, of two young cousins named Guille and Belinda. In 1999, when they were 10 and 9 years old and living in a rural province of Buenos Aires, their paths crossed with photographer Alessandra Sanguinetti. Drawn to the girls, whose evident affection for each other is somehow magnified by their mismatched physiques, Sanguinetti took pictures to “crystallize their rich yet fragile and unattended world”.

I got to Atlanta yesterday with my artwork in tow, I had to gate check the big prints, but the package arrived in one piece. Jack Simonetta, one of the owners of PB+J and I hung the prints up and here is a sneak preview
